We, the undersigned residents of the Perryopolis community, strongly oppose the special zoning exemption requested at 14 Memorial Dr., Perryopolis, PA for a convalescent facility for inpatient drug rehab. We, the undersigned, express grave concern for the health, safety and welfare of our community, especially for school children who attend classes less than 100 yards from this location. Therefore, we the undersigned, kindly ask the Fayette County Zoning Board, uphold the wishes of our community and deny the request for special exemption.

I have finalized a formal brief outlining our zoning concerns to submit to the Fayette County Board before their upcoming public hearing. Legal counsel is currently reviewing the proximity data regarding the school site to ensure our argument meets all regulatory requirements.

The community is already dealing with the Methadone Clinic and the increase of individuals, since the closing of the one in Uniontown, This township does not have a local police department, The facility is located next to a bar and another bar is only 1/4 mile away. Sorry not in favor of this facility
While I fully support helping others recover I do NOT feel this is the appropriate area for this facility. It's in the middle of a neighborhood, close to our schools, amongst many children, ect. Keep Perry a safe zone for our families, what drew me to Perry was it's close knit feel.
While I love rehabilitation programs and resources, I don’t see fit to have a facility this close to a school. The location isn’t appropriate
I do not want this place directly across from my house. I have a child under one year old. This would be devastating to have there. This decision will impact my family the most.
I am strongly opposed to this facility being put in a community with so many children in the area. It would be located next to a school. Many elderly individuals live in our community and this facility would endanger their safety.
I dont want this place to be used as a drug rehab because of the people who live close to it plus I feel that people who do not take these drugs shouldnt have to worry about their safty because they are aloud to leave the property and come back also I feel the people should build a place in the country in a field so others shouldnt have to be bothered just like a jail
Well don't need to put our children endanger of this facility being need the school or need it in our community.

We have a quiet, clean, prosperous community, something that’s hard to find in Western Pennsylvania. We do not need another drug treatment facility, especially one that is in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood.
