This petition is for an official complaint against Guru Palace, located at 2215 US-1, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902 farther referred to here as "The caterer". The caterer served stale and rotten food of unacceptable quality at the New Year's Eve banquet co-organized by Kallol of NJ at the Tagore Hall located at 269 Cedar Grove Ln, Somerset, NJ 08873, on Dec 31, 2019. I / we were affected by the food served and suffered from one or more health conditions immediately after consuming the caterer's food on Dec 31, 2019 that needed medical attention and / or continued treatment. We find such a negligence, by a reputed caterer, absolutely inexcusable.

Reaching this level of visibility feels heavy because it confirms so many of you suffered the same neglect. I am exhausted by the slow pace of accountability but your persistence keeps me moving forward.

On Jan-01-2020, the three of us (wife, daughter and myself) woke up to severe bouts of stomach ache and diarrhea. Not all ate same good. Given this Was winter food do not get spoilt easily. I therefore strongly believe it was Guru Palace‘S gross negligence and utter disregard to safety. They have taken money making to dangerous level and need to be severely reprimanded.
We had a severe case of food poisoning at the New Year 2020 program conducted by Kallol/AnandaMandir. The caterer was Guru Palace. They seem to have a serious issue with food quality and food handling that caused me to be sick like many in our community
Both I and my wife became sick for 2 days.
We need to be careful in the future when selecting any food vendor. Guru Palace should be removed from Kallol’s events.
I fell sick after the dinner and had to take medicine.
My daughter fell sick after eating one of the appetizers
The food was contaminated. Did not expect this from a reputed caterer.

It is absolutely deplorable that Guru Palace, an established restaurant and caterer, has the audacity to serve sub par food and service to its patrons! Stale food, dirty dishes... totally unacceptable! My elderly mother who was most excited to attend the party, was severely ill with cramps and diarrhea for days after consuming the food at this event. It took several more days and a entire round of antibiotics to bring her back to health again. I absolutely hold the restaurant responsible and will be providing this feedback on Yelp and Google as well so others can stay from this place.
