Food quality becoming poor day by day, unhygienic cooking, private mess would be best but better cooks and quality of ingredients are bare minimum.
The mess food quality is poor and hygiene standards are not followed properly, which is affecting students’ health. Ingredients like rotis, paneer, and spices are of low quality, and food is prepared without basic safety measures. Since there is no fund issue and many IITs/NITs have already shifted to private messes
Basic things were not upto the marks and there is a serious concern about removal of food items before the actual timing
Highly diluted milk, chapati very thick, paneer on thursdays and saturdays tastes horrible, the food quality is being compromised, lack of higiene observed daily(workers do not wear gloves, hair mask, food is prepared in an open uncovered area making it vulnerable to insect contamination, also lack of chefs with basic skills.No need of aloo every day, there are many other options available. I would suggest better outsource the mess workers through a company.

Our mess food quality has not been up to the mark. Bad hygeine, bad quality materials, people getting sick due to the food, and many other problems have been arising. The petition requests you to sign if you agree that the mess food quality must improve, since something as basic as food should not be a compromise.

The quality standards and facilities should be matched with that of girls hostel. As we both are paying same fee.. increase the standards
