The Club has exciting plans to renovate the main hall of our clubhouse.
The proposed works will update and modernise the hall so that it becomes a venue that will not only benefit Tonna RFC, but also a range of other local organisations and individuals.
The hall will be made available to the community for bookings 7 days a week throughout the year.
We are now undertaking consultation within the local community that includes this petition, and requesting letters of support from clubs who already use our facilities and other local organisations who are willing to support our project.
Grant applications to meet part of the cost of the project are due to be submitted in January 2016 and your support for this venture by signing the petition below would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to add any comments/views regarding the proposals.
Many thanks

There's always a warm welcome to all at Tonna RFC, I cannot think of anywhere more deserving locally, if these improvements go ahead, then I am sure more people from the community will benefit from the facilities there.
This is an award winning community club, yes rugby is the main theme but it has the community at its heart & a refurb will allow greater community use of the main hall by all aspects of the community
I believe the rugby club has a very important function within the village. It helps develop people's interest in sport, and develop them into top quality rugby players. They need the facilities to attract new and potentially sportsmen
The Club has been a big part of my life since moving to Tonna almost 29 years ago.
Tonna has been key in supporting the Swansea magpies Australian rules football club. Without their support I don't think the club would still exist today
The rugby club is the heart of the community providing various family events. The upgrade will benefit the whole village and beyond.
Great little club deserves an upgrade!!

My son plays for Tonna RFC Juniors, through the club he continues to develop through the many aspects sport and the club community have to offer. Any support the club can receive will go a long way in securing a better environment for Tonna RFC to continue their good work within the community.
