Chicago Police lost one of their finest officers, Officer Clifton P. Lewis.  Clifton's life was taken by 4 men robbing a neighborhood store.  Officer Lewis was shot multiple with a semi-automatic weapon and subcomb to his injuries 29 Dec 2011.  My name is Latrice Tucker Fiancee' of Officer Lewis.  I am putting this petition out for Justice and honoring a man that meant more to me, his community and his brothers and sisters of the CPD, than words could express.  By signing this petition it will help me place into law Clifton's law a law that will state "that if anyone causes harm or death to a peace officer (police officer) they shall be sentenced to life without the possabilites of parole".  If a person can take a human life with no regards to the impact that it causes to the victim's family, then the law should have no remorse to the convicted criminal'.  Please help me and my family help other families so they won't have to experience what we are going to have to live without for the rest of our lives.
