I would like to introduce myself and tell you my story. My Name Is Lisa Palmer and I have worked as a Nurse for 20+ years I have never been in trouble with the law and consider myself Kind caring spirtual person. I therefore have been un prepared for what I have had to deal with. My 23year old son Michael Palmer was living with me in West Palm Beach Florida. On May 6,2007 I was informed that my son had been Murdered At a boat dock at approximately 7:45pm by a stranger who had a GUN in his swimming trunks. I'm still waiting for trial 2nd Degree Murder charge. Because he had Gun with him. This 44year old person has been on house Arrest for 2 years violating parole twice that I know of. Still is not in Jail and I may have another 9 Months or so to go. I propose. 1. ALL VIOLENT CRIME PERPETRATORS SHOULD BE IN JAIL. 2.This would give justice to everyone involved because perpetrator has right to speedy trial. 3.Corruption in Justice system would be exposed and have to be explained. Please sign petition and help seek Justice for Michael. Michael's mom

Updates

The wait continues while the perpetrator remains on house arrest. I am currently reaching out to local officials to demand an explanation for these constant delays.

The momentum is growing and I feel it. This shows how many people demand actual justice for Michael.

Praying for you. No mother should have to wait this long for any kind of justice. Stay strong.

Keep fighting. Two years on house arrest for a shooting is just wrong. Something needs to change.

Ridiculous. If you take a life you belong behind bars immediately. House arrest for murder is a slap in the face to your son.

This is completely insane. My heart breaks for you Lisa. How can someone on house arrest for murder violate parole twice and still be out? The system is so broken.

Unbelievable. The system protects the criminals more than the victims. Poor Michael.
