Wivenhoe Town Council has recently announced their desire to clear the public slipway on Bethany Street in Wivenhoe. When cleared it will provide greater access to the River Colne for independent water users in the town. The site is already deemed as a public right of way and WTC seek to make it usable once more. At the moment the only places to gain access are at Wivenhoe Sailing Club hards but only if you are a member. Show your support by signing this petition.
