We the residents of the city of Arcadia and the county of Desoto hereby submit this Petition for Action against the establishments known as Stonegate Apartments associated businesses. Our signatures represent our complaints and concerns and desires that the City of Arcadia (and, if needed the County of Desoto) take action against the aforesaid establishments for the safety of the residents, particularly our children, in this county. Our concerns are as follows:
Rampant drug use and prostitution on the premises
Deplorable conditions at the complex
The close proximity to DeSoto County High School

The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formally request a meeting with the Arcadia city manager. I am coordinating with local representatives to ensure this petition is included in the agenda for the upcoming council review.

Plz let's do what we can to get this cleaned up what is said is true.i have great grandkids living in that i didnt know what i could do about it till i seen this I'm in for what ever we can do.
My only worry is what happens to the ones who have nothing to do with what is going on in Stonegate. Will they be placed in affordable housing?
I fear for the small children living in those apartments with no windows and extension cords running out the windows across puddles into other apartments. I also fear for all the kids that have to walk past this place! Bring it up to code, or tear it down!
I agree this place needs to be dealt with. It's appearance and more importantly drug activity needs to be seriously addressed. This is next to our kids high school!
Disgusting ! And to be that close to the high school , with visiting high schools from other counties. Just what dose that say about our county ?
Dude ripped me off on a 20 sack. Burn it down.

What an eyesore to say the least. Stonegate is not up to code!! There is mold in apartments. Some have no windows. Wiring is faulty. Laundry rooms have no ventilation for dryer and you can see the ground through one of the walls. Water is illegally shut off without notifying tenants that "Some type" of water repair is being done. This man preys on single moms and families who are struggling financially.
