THEY FOLDED AND THE PLANS ARE OFFICIALLY SCRAPPED!! OUR TOWN IS STAYING INDEPENDENT BECAUSE OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WHO STEPPED UP TO PROTECT CLAYSVILLE!! KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN TO MAKE SURE NOTHING LIKE THIS EVER COMES BACK!!
Please take the time to sign this petition to let the Donegal Township supervisors know we do not want, nor will we allow a Dollar General to be built within the Township that will almost certainly force our local mom and pop shops to close and open a door for other corporations to move into our community and eliminate the small town values we all live by.
THIS MOMENTUM IS ABSOLUTELY ELECTRIC!! OUR SMALL TOWN VALUES ARE SHINING BRIGHTER THAN EVER BECAUSE YOU ALL CHOSE TO SHOW UP FOR THIS FIGHT!!

Do not let dollar general open in Donegal twp. I grew up loving minteers and Curtis pharmacy ect. I'd rather pay top dollar there than dirt cheap dollar general!!!

Claysville is one of the only small towns left in this area that has been left untouched by big corporations. It would ruin this town by diminishing the businesses that the Claysville community has counted on for years. I will not step foot in Dollar General and will continue to support the local, hometown establishments.

As an owner of a small business that has been in this community for 27 years I absolutely do not want a Dollar General to move in and wipe out some of our family owned businesses that make Claysville the wonderful town that it is. Towns like ours with family businesses that support and give back to the community are hard to find, and we are very lucky to have this great town!

Raised in the Claysville area, loved Gashels and Minteers and Maggis and Sprowls. At least two of those are gone now thanks to chain stores one town over. DG would be one more nail in the town's coffin.

Never fails, Dollar General brings a neighborhood down. Claysville is on the rise with new small businesses opening up. We don't need a dollar store to pull us back down.

Claysville PA, isn't exactly my hometown but its where I went to school. I am from a neighboring small town but have been at, through, and to Claysville enough to know what a nice small town it is. It's filled with ma and pa stores. Don't commericalize a small town by throwing in a dollar general. It just simply doesn't fit.
