The local council continues to ignore the constant danger on Oaken Lane while our families are forced to dodge speeding cars every single day. I am currently compiling a report on their negligence to force a real meeting because their silence on this issue is unacceptable.

The momentum behind this fight proves that village residents are fed up with being treated like a shortcut for commuters. We are forcing the local authorities to acknowledge the danger they have ignored for far too long.

Try pushing a buggy down there with no pavement. It is impossible. Fed up with the danger.
Claygate is not a bypass for people in a rush to get to Kingston. Slow down!!
Been saying this for years. Way too much traffic cutting through the village and nobody cares about the pedestrians.
Absolute joke how fast people drive through here. Need speed bumps asap before someone gets killed.
Living on Oaken Lane is a nightmare. Cars fly past my house like it is a race track. My kids cant even walk to the village hall safely anymore.

Too many near misses. Just put in a real crossing already.
Try pushing a buggy down there with no pavement. It is impossible. Fed up with the danger.
