I have been spending my evenings walking the trails near the Copse and watching the wildlife that would be displaced by this constant flow of commuters. The council has remained silent on our concerns regarding the noise and light pollution so I am preparing a formal response to their latest planning document.

Seeing this momentum grow has been overwhelming because this local woodland is where my children play every afternoon. Knowing that so many people feel just as protective of our neighborhood as I do gives me real hope that we can actually stop this plan.

Ridiculous idea from the start. Caversham Park Road cant handle that kind of traffic volume. Really happy its been scrapped.
About time they listened to us. This area is already congested enough without adding extra buses and commuters.
THANK GOD. The 23 bus is already packed in the mornings. How did they ever think that would work?
so relieved! charging for that parking would have been a nightmare for locals who just want to walk their dogs. leave it alone.
Finally some common sense. That road is a total bottle neck as it is. Nice work everyone.

Great news!! My kids play near that copse all the time. Glad we dont have to worry about all that extra traffic now.
