Subject: Rename Cimarron High School Gymnasium after Mike "Rooster" Rosso
After some discussion with family over the holiday break, we decided this idea was a no-brainer and needed to be acted upon. This is a petition to have the Cimarron School Board and Cimarron Municipal School District agree to rename the Cimarron High School Gymnasium after a man that WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE, Mike “Rooster” Rosso. Many of us love our high school in Cimarron; so many memories in the halls and at different sporting events hosted at the school. The faces at CHS have changed since we all attended, but one person was always a constant year after year… Rooster! Please sign the petition and let’s get our gym renamed after man that truly deserves it!
There are going to be several steps in this process, but the first step is getting the petition signed. Please encourage family and friends to sign it as well. The goal is to have 1000 names and signatures by the February School Board Meeting so we can get on the agenda and present our petition.

Rooster is a legend. Spent so many hours in that gym and he was always there with a smile. Put his name on the wall!
About time! Rooster practically ran the place for years. Do the right thing board members.

YES. He made high school bearable for me. Seriously the nicest guy in the building.
ROOSTER IS THE MAN. naming the gym after him is the least we can do.

I remember him from back in 98 when I was on the volleyball team. Always so supportive of the athletes. He deserves this honor.
