Petition to Stop Proposed Redevelopment of Ipswich Walk
We the undersigned would like the redevelopment plans for Short Term Accommodation at Ipswich Walk to be halted until the community is better informed on whom exactly will be occupying this new building.
I really never expected this much movement when I started this because people around here usually just shrug and move on (my coffee went cold while I was checking the notifications) but now it actually feels like someone might have to listen to us. This momentum is honestly spinning my head a little bit but it gives me so much hope that we might get some real answers about the site instead of just being ignored.

Surely ths flies in the face of the regeneration here in C/Wood. This cannot be allowed to happen. Not only will this bring many issues but for home owner the likelihood will be both drop in values plus trouble in selling.

I have 2 small children and live really close to what would be this development and don't want my children exposed and living anywhere near it. I've recently moved back into the community where lots of other children live and this we definitely do not need.

people should be more informed as to what's going to be on their doorstep. It's right by a school. Chelmsley needs better things to imorove the area not bring it down.

Wouldn't it be better to house people who need help away from a place where they could get there hands on drugs easy. wouldn't it be better to have them in the countryside where there away from temptations and have chance to rest and clear there head and away from the stress of every day life that will make them use agen

I do not want this to go ahead. Surely the council need to consider the current residents like myself who will be directly affected. I have a young child, I don't want to fear letting him out growing up, I don't want to dear my house being broken into and I do not want to lose hard money I have paid for my house.!

Appalling idea for a residential area with a secondary school nearby. I will not feel safe and will worry about my children's safety too
