The Comhairle nan Eilean Siar have allowed a new policy to come into force which means that the town car parks in Stornoway cannot be closed for more than one day. As you all know the fair normally come up for the carnival and without the car park shutting they can only do it for one day but this would be unsuitable as by the time they set up that day would basically be gone. So I am proposing this petition so that we can get the locals to help them out and so that we do not lose this privilege of having the fair. I want to show the council that they need to listen to what young people want rather than over rule us. So please support me and the fair and put your name down!
