This petition is for the denial of a cell phone tower to be constructed on the grounds of the Baptist College.

Concern such as property value decrease, 24/7 Electromagnetic Frequency emission, and the environmental impact cell towers have. These factors and many more is why we do not want this constructed in our back yards.

Please sign this petition and allow me to take it to the September 12 Lexington Planning Commission meeting with your signature in favor of a denial. The more voice we have against the construction the higher likelihood of a denial of their permit. Please join me in this fight and come to the city council meeting on September 12 at 1:30pm and let your voice be heard. The hearing is at the Council Chambers at 200 Main St., Lexington.

We already have plenty of coverage in this area. No reason to put this right next to the college and all our homes. Keep Lexington beautiful and say no to this tower.

500 feet from the tower. My property value, and taxes have gone up in the 9 years I have lived here. It’s a fact that my property value will drop as much as 20%. Why do this when there are other options that will not affect our neighborhood property values?
