A lot of views have been expressed in the local press recently as to the lack of a Hogmanay celebration events in the heart of the city of Dundee compared to other citys in Scotland e.g Aberdeen, Stirling and of course Edinburgh. The Lord Provest John Letford has eventually commented on the subject saying it\'s a possibility however he is worried about costs and states he hasn\'t received any letters from Dundonians requesting such a celebration !! To save us all puting pen to paper this petition has been set up to prove to Mr Letford Dundee wants to celebrate alongside the rest of Scotland. Lets prove to Dundee City Council we want to celebrate our heritage our culture and our people by re-igniting a sense of community spirit getting together to see the old year out and to see the new year in. So come on folks lets give Mr Letford the response he\'s looking for !! Thank you
