The Celebrate by Del Webb Board of Directors has a fiduciary duty to expend HOA resources in a fiscally sound manner. Rolling over a contract with Legum and Norman that was initially negotiated in 2018 is, in our opinion, a failure by the Board to carry out its fiduciary duties to the HOA. Therefore, the undersigned hereby petition the Board of Directors to issue a Request for Proposals to several companies for a new contract for a management company to assist the HOA in the day to day operations of the HOA.

I was looking over the old contract paperwork again this morning and honestly it is just baffling that nobody has bothered to look at the market rates in so long. People keep messaging me privately with their own frustrations about the current management and it really confirms that we are not the only ones feeling like the board is just asleep at the wheel here.

Very interested in running the subdivision well…competitive bidding is part of getting the best businesses to serve our community. Just rolling over contracts seems like taking the easy way out.
Why are we just renewing without checking anyone else? It makes no sense to ignore what other companies might charge us.
We need transparency. Just signing the same contract year after year feels lazy and we deserve better management for our dues.
Our Board must not make decisions without investigating all options to make sure our money is well spent and the community receives proper services. To do otherwise is shirking its duties and responsibilities. If any member of the Board doesn't want to do the best job they can do, they should step down instead of breaking their promises to the members of the community.
All contracts should be competed. We have everything to gain by looking at other providers and selecting the best value.
Like to see a change
Competitive rates should be explored. 12 percent increase is very high.
