We, the undersigned, understand that Charleston County Parks (CCPRC) and the City of Goose Creek are partnering to develop improved trailhead facilities for the Wannamaker North Trail, as well as a future municipal park for the City of Goose Creek. Phase 1 of the proposed municipal park master plan is to develop a shared 60-space parking lot on City-owned property adjacent to Westview Blvd. Phase 1 also includes the construction of approximately 1000 ft. of Hiker/Biker Trail. I understand that the City of Goose Creek in cooperation with CCPRC is pursuing a Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant in the amount of $100,000 to fund Phase 1 as described above. We hereby, express our support for this project and encourage the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism to award this grant to the City of Goose Creek.
