Please cancel school. It's very scary driving in the morning when it's darker and that rainy. The parking lots get flooded and people stop knowing how to drive. My whole school is outdoors and the library fills up. Please cancel school for one day
In this type of situation meaning floods will cause a lot of traffic meaning most parents or students who drive will be frustrated and may cause serious damage which can involve car accidents and endangering students walking the streets.
Driving during flash floods composes a threat of students getting hit by cars, hyperthermia, and much more. Manu students live far away and don't have the luxury to drive to school, why should they be soaking wet when they could easily cancel school
The campus has huge puddles, and really bad drainage, I always end up getting my jeans soaked all the way up to my knees! Also, i have to bring my wet umbrella into class, and then my backpack gets soaked and all my paper are ruined...
I get out of school at 5:30 which is when it is dark out and with the rain it would make things worse. My mom suffers from tendonitis and the cold makes her hands hurt so it is not in our favor since she has to pick me up from school.
Unsafe for kids specifically traveling to school
It's makes me depressed and suicidal

It's extremely cold outside and we live in Southern California meaning we assume it's going to be warm so we don't prepare and buy the suitable clothing for this weather and by giving us a day off would insure less people getting sick thus less absences
