Considering that Oxford Lake is alrighty a distraction going from class to class should be enough. NOW THERE IS A FLOOD? Wet socks gives students a bad learning experience and an uncomfrotable environment. So we the OA students should have the day off.
The school board can no longer pretend this flooding is just a minor inconvenience while we walk through puddles to get to class. This explosion of support proves they are out of touch with the reality of our swampy campus.

If students can barely walk on the sidewalks or back their cars out of their driveways, what makes it safe for us to go to school? Students at Oxford Academy live a range of 5-30 minutes away, which unlike other schools, means some students have to go through 30 minutes of flooded streets just to get to school, not counting traffic!!

If shorts that are slightly too short are too distracting, then feeling the pain of having wet socks for an entire day is too distracting.

With students not being able to make it out of the their driveway without drowning in the flood, we shouldn't have school! Student safety is more important!!
