Places it snows really hard school is canceled We live in Southern California and get rain every so often. I propose the idea that southern Californian kids get school off on rainy days that make it hard to drive to school and do regular school functions.

We are crawling toward that first hundred and honestly it feels like the weather report is finally on our side because it is absolutely pouring out there. If you can just blast this link out to your group chats or maybe even post it to your main feed while the sky is still gray that would be huge for getting us over this little hurdle.

when we have school on rainy days it is dangerous for parents to be on the road. Also, it is uncomfortable for students to sit in class wet.
We do not want school on a rainy day mainly because I run track and I get really sick when in rain and I can't participate in events or practices
I have to walk to school in the rain bc that's my only way and it's hard bc theres Always puddles and I always show up to school soaked
Too many fallen trees and all the roads get blocked. Couldn't get to school on time
I was driving to school the other day and it was pouring rain. As I was turning into the school my wheels hydroplanned and spun out. I didn't know how to control it so I crashed into this bench and it totaled my car haha
No school so we can play in the rain, duh

This is something to get behind because most schools in Southern California don't have great drainage so it results in flooding. This is why a petition like this has a good reason to be signed by all.
