It will be dangerous trying to get to school - driving or walking - and many kids, like myself, already take days off often for sickness and can't afford to fall behind

Today alone a large multitude of students slipped and fell on their way home. Whether it be walking home from school or from their bus to their homes, students suffered bruises from multiple falls. Slipping on ice can be potentially very dangerous, leading to broken bones and even death. Putting students lives in jeapordy for just one day of school is unreasonable. Also, the 3 high schools have a large majority of their Junior and Senior student bodies driving to school. Inexperienced drivers on an icy road is a large hazard, which could cause a large number of accidents.

Hi, I severely injured myself coming out of school to the school buses today, and I feel like it’s a hazard to have to come and have several students injure themselves and have to go through the horrible conditions.

I slipped and fell today and my sister got a concussion from falling. It’s to dangerous to have school.

I do not feel safe getting to school when the roads are so slick. First the freezing rain and now new snow over top, the road will be a nightmare in the morning.

I slipped 5 times on my way from the bus back home. My friend's sister even broke her wrist because she fell. These conditions are unsafe for those who can't drive well, need to walk to school, OR those riding the bus.

It’s too cold!

The comment dates are wrong but that doesn't matter. Literally people almost died when they slipped on the ice. I swore I broke my tailbone and my butt has been in excruciating pain. Friday is going to be in the negatives so I don't want to get frostbite and hypothermia or all those random diseases you get when your cold.
