I have been hearing from so many of you who no longer feel safe walking home after a night out in the Village. My own friends are still checking over their shoulders when we walk past those dark corners by the car park. I am currently compiling all your stories to ensure the council understands that this is about our basic right to exist in our own neighborhood without fear.

Seeing this grow makes me feel like we might finally get the protection our community deserves. I never expected so many people to share these same fears about the streets where we spend our nights.

CCTV is the bare minimum. Been going to canal st for years and its never been this dangerous. SORT IT OUT
it is getting so bad lately i dont even like walking back to the station after a night out. need proper lights and cameras asap

My friend got her bag snatched right outside the takeaways last month. The police did nothing because they said there was no footage. Fix it.
