  • STOP THE DESECRATION...PROTECT AND RESTORE MALAE’OLETALU FOR OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS. The Governor stated in Samoa News, that the authorization came from village leaders and faifeau’s. So far, none of these so called village leaders and faifeau’s have stepped up to corroborate this statement. Meanwhile, the MALAE’OLETALU village green has been defaced beyond the so called agreed upon work order. Someone needs to be held accountable. We want ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, TRANSPARENCY and THE TRUTH! MALAE’OLETALU BELONGS to FAGATOGO and its Community of related Families and Residents. The MALAE’OLETALU is of HISTORIC and CULTURAL Significance to the PEOPLE OF AMERICAN SAMOA. Please sign the petition to stop the desecration & call for the restoration of the MALAE’OLETALU

I'm from the family of Mailo and those who is surrounding the chain of the clans in Fagatogo everyone is family. That's the spot where flag days was held in the days. Cricket games from all over the island. I support my Fagatogo village.

Government can’t forced nor taking over Citizens Property without an approval from an landlord/Community Support, it’s an abuse of Power and violation our ancestors agreement between the Government and Landowner. Wishing all the best Citizens of Fagatogo and God bless.

Historic sites/figures are a sacred membrane of the history for not only the village, but the Island as a whole. Be careful opening this portal, as this was the same portal/reason alot of deep valued cultures became extinct. Save the foundation of our land as our land is our culture.

These are my stomping grounds as a child growing up; 60's - mid 70's. Been off island for the most part of the last 30+ yrs but I personally wouldn't approve of that Pavillion Waikiki Shell type stage in the first place. Just saying....supporting you all 100%.

I stand to fight for what is right. I grew up in Fagatogo and to see this administration desecrate my home is a blatant disregard to every American Samoan and future generations. #PleaseProtectOurMalaeoletalu

Granddaughter of Ioana Mailo Atualevao, daughter of Leaosava'ai Simone Petero Mailo Talamaivao. My mother Losivale Toilolo Talamaivao became a cricket team player of the women's team in the 1980's on that, Malae Ole Talu.
