This is apart of our cultural upbringing in American samoa, its part of our history our custom its part of what i have become and of what i am. it is as what it was always there for and as was said " o samoa o le nu'u ua uma ona tofi ." . it shall never be changed .

I'm from the family of Mailo and those who is surrounding the chain of the clans in Fagatogo everyone is family. That's the spot where flag days was held in the days. Cricket games from all over the island. I support my Fagatogo village.

They should keep the malae as is. I noticed most votes are from the United States. This Malae is and as always is the heart of Fagatogo. Everywhere else in Fagatogo is paved and so many businesses surround it, the main field should have been left alone. The pavilion should have been enough...The malae belongs to Fagatogo and it's people! I repeat the MALAE BELONGS TO THE VILLAGE OF FAGATOGO AND IT'S PEOPLE...

They had no right to cement that land. To have a temporary wall up so that we cant see what your doing. Tear it out
