A Call for Fair Pay & Fair Work
This petition has been started by me your fellow employee, at the moment I choose to remain anonymous. As a respected member of the team I have seen unfair treatment in terms of work hours, lack of general respect, favortism with promotions, and unfair pay when compared with peers and counterparts within our industry. And most of all working more than 40 hours per week without overtime nor fair compensation.
Have you experienced or been witness to the same?
With a union, we have the legal right to bargain over our pay, benefits, employment security, health and safety, and retirement, work agreement, etc. A union also gives us the ability to negotiate over company policies that affect promotions, job bidding, layoffs, and many other aspects of our job.
For example if our client desires 40 - 50 store visits per week with 15 signups on our learn and earn website, we can say "NO" without fear of backlash, unfair treatment, or termination. This is what Union representation is all about, it firmly plants the power in our hands, not our employer.
Having a union and the right to bargain collectively with Create/Marketstar is not some old-fashioned idea that’s time has come and gone. Top executives of every major corporation negotiate their own compensation, retirement and severance packages with the companies for which they work.
We will have the same ability to improve our careers.
Once enough signatures have been collected among Product Specialists, Senior Product Specialists, National Retail Brand Advocates, Brand Advocates, and etc. this petition will be given to CWA (Communication Workers of America) informing organizers a majority of employees of the above teams would like union representation.
