TSTT’s profits did not happen by accident. They were built by employees.
Unionised workers, exempt employees and upper management all played a part in keeping the Company operating, serving customers, maintaining networks, solving problems and generating revenue. During COVID-19, when the country depended heavily on telecommunications, employees went beyond the ordinary call of duty. We worked longer, adapted quickly, accepted additional responsibilities and kept Trinidad and Tobago connected.
Our commitment to our customers has never wavered. But commitment must be met with recognition.
When a Company celebrates strong profits, the people whose labour helped produce those profits should also share in the success. For unionised employees, that means settling outstanding negotiations fairly and without further delay. For exempt and management employees, that means fair recognition, including an appropriate performance bonus.
Profit cannot be celebrated in the boardroom while sacrifice is forgotten on the work floor.
We remain committed to TSTT and its customers, but employees must never be weaponised, divided or denied fair recognition because of the ego or personal position of any Chairman or individual office-holder. No personality should be bigger than the Company, its employees or its future.
This is bigger than unionised versus non-unionised. This is about ALL employees.

The worker are the stakeholders who dedicate each day to ensure the success of the organization going above and beyond their obligations and they are long overdue receiving their fair share of the rewards.
We have supported the company despite two retrenchments to keep it afloat with a a skeletal staff
I as a worker contributed and still continues to contribute to any and all profits make by this company, a fair wage is all I ask for.
The erosion of purchasing power and workers continue to feel the burden of adjustment while Mgt enjoy the spoils of our labour. There must be equity for ALL.
Workers deserves what they work for
I'm concerned about the ay state companies are being managed, how mismanagement negatively impacts viability of those companies, quality of service delivered to customers and unfair treatment meted out to the workers whose labour is crucial to produce the services to customers
Wife was a former employee of the company and the family continues to support the union as she would have expected. Long live CWU!!!!

If TSTT makes any profits the workers are the ones to benefit from said profits. For too long at TSTT only the management benefits which is so wrong. "Share the profits for you and me for is we who built TSTT.
