Hi! I am currently in Animation Production at WB and a few of us are trying to fight for weekly pandemic support for Non-Union employees.
The hardship of working from home has impacted us all equally. The Local 839 and 700 Unions have used their bargaining power to secure weekly stipends which will be paid retroactively (using the show budget) from the start of our work-from-home time in mid March. This equates to hundreds of dollars, with no end in sight. WB has then acknowledged that their Union employees deserve compensation for fees and unexpected increases in utility bills. We in Production are only asking for the same amount that is provided for the WB Union workers; as COVID-19 work-from-home issues do not only affect a select number of employees. This pandemic has affected all employees at WB.
While WB has offered us a limited reimbursement plan for office supplies, this is not doing much to help with our monthly increase in bills.
I am asking you to sign this petition to help us fight to get the same weekly help that WB is providing to its Union members.
