To the State Government of Victoria. This petition is asking for accountability and credibility of the distribution of funds donated to the Bush fire Appeal via the Red Cross. Many people have been neglected, or unable to access funds with discrepancies between circumstances very notable. Similar needs and circumstances, yet thousands different in allocation. The Victorian State Government promised open, accountable and transparent government for the people of Victoria. Now all Australians (and from around the world) who generously donated to the appeal require a full audit of monies received through the Red Cross and distributed by Government Agency (DHS). We the undersigned require a full accounting, with total freedom of information (FIO), by process of a totally independent audit of all financial transactions with respect to use and distribution of all donated money to the Bush Fire Appeal.
