Many times a day and sometimes for hours Sheffield is impacted by trains that stop on the tracks, and if the city will do something to help it would make our area a lot easier, safer and better. If we can get enough signatures and send them to the city just maybe we can make a difference!
I have been documenting how long these trains sit at the crossings and sending that data directly to the mayor. Tag the city council on Facebook to make sure they know we are tracking this daily. Text three neighbors today and ask them to sign if they are tired of being trapped by these tracks.

The momentum we have built proves that this train issue is finally getting the attention it deserves. Take this link and text it to three people who live in Sheffield so we can keep the pressure on our city officials.

I have been late picking up my kids from school due to trains stopped on the tracks. Having to go all the way around to muscle shoals is an issue and a hassle.

It's imperative!! These trains are spontaneous, you cannot time your morning routine to work, appointments, emergencies etc.

I Cross tracks for school but in case of life or death situation trains could block closest route to hospital causing valuable time to be lost and possibly death in transit to emergency room in emergency vehicles

The trains that stay stuck at the tracks almost always make me late getting to work! This could also be very dangerous if an ambulance was trying to get to the hospital with an injured person.

Yes because the trains stop a lot and doesn't move for hours we need something because you don't know if someone is trying to get to work or if they have a emergency and trying to get to the hospital...
