Many people judge others by their name. While we’ve all heard the advice to not judge a as book by its cover, people continue to assume that people are a certain way because of their name. How many times have you heard someone say don’t be a “Karen”, or you’re such a “Gomer”, or you do t look like a “Brent”? This petition is intended to add personal names to the list of protected groups, especially when used in a derogatory context.
Finally someone says it. People always make jokes about my name like im some kind of stereotype. Its super annoying and really rude when you dont even know me.
