The contract is back in place and our healthcare access is restored. It was a long fight to keep these services in our community but we finally got the outcome we needed. Stay alert to ensure they uphold their end of this agreement.
The people of Northeast Georgia have consistently leaned on Northeast Georgia Medical Group to provide quality healthcare to the community. However, due to stalled and suspended negotiations between United Healthcare and NeGMG, policy holders who live in Northeast Georgia will now have to seek care elsewhere or pay out of network cost.
Reaching this level of support is exhausting but it proves that people are finally taking notice of this fight. I often wonder if this will lead anywhere yet seeing so many of you stand with me keeps the pressure on where it belongs.

Too much stress on the patients. We pay enough for premiums to get the care we need. Put them back in network.

This is ridiculous. I have been seeing my doctor here for ten years and now I have to start over because of some greedy insurance fight. Sort it out.

Ridiculous. My whole family goes to NeGMG. My kids got appointments coming up and now we are stuck in limbo over this dispute. Fix it now United!

My husband needs his prescriptions refilled and now he is being told it will cost double. This is not right for the local community.

I really need to keep my cardiologist. He knows my history better than anyone else. Why should we have to suffer for a corporate argument.
