Chirobody Chiropractic and Sports Medicine and it's providers, including Dr's Anthony Arreola, and Jacob Waller, is being removed from being an 'in-network' contracted provider from Premera Blue Cross effective April 15, 2019. Our patients rely on using their in-network benefits to get the best care with the best coverage available to them. Help us keep our Premera patients and ensure your benefits are not taken away from you.
We want to tell Jeff Roe, CEO and President of Premera Blue Cross, that it is acting in bad faith to remove Chirobody from being in-network without proper cause. This decision was made on the cusp of a new law that was enacted in 2019 under the Fair Pay Bill (ESB 5518) which states Chiropractors cannot be paid less than other specialists for providing the same services (RCW 48.43.190). This seems to be a move based solely to allow Premera Blue Cross to cut costs and increase profit at the expense of good patient care.

Eliminating your customers' access to effective treatment for financial gain is as absurd as it is predictable. Dr. Anthony Arreola is great at what he does, from treatments themselves to making patients feel at ease. It's an incredibly cynical decision from a "non-profit" to eliminate access to a provider because the law states that provider should be fairly compensated. Reconsider your decision, Premera.
There is not many amazing chiropractors out there. Please dont take away the ones that actually care about there patients
Chiropractic care is crucial to my health as well as my daughters. Without insurance coverage for it you will remove our ability to receive a significant part of our healthcare.
I’d like to continue using my Premera benefit at Chirobody. If this is in danger, I’m opposed to the pending action as described.
Dr. Anthony Arreola has treated all 3 of my children and has been able to resolve their injuries when other doctors have failed. It does not make sense to terminate this contract as it will cost you more money in the long run, when we end up with more visits to doctors who can't resolve my kids' injuries as quickly or successfully.
Dr. Arreola is an amazing chiropractor and practitioner and I believe Chirobody and his entire team should remain a preferred provider in-network.
It's not Right or fair to the patients or the Dr. Anthony Arreola and his Business .

This is ridiculous! I have been seeing Dr Anthony for years as in network. To drop a fabulous doctor who provides patients with great care is ridiculous. He needs to be kept in network.
