This Petition is purposed to bring attention to the BCBS organization that its insurance members wish to continue care with Axis HealthCare.
As of August 16th, 2016 BCBS will not be renewing Axis Healthcare’s Provider contract. The reason stated for not renewing the contract is simply, “because we reserve the right to not renew.” Axis HealthCare has not been given any other reason from BCBS other than they reserve the right.
This decision by BCBS hurts its insurance members in many ways: BCBS members have built trusting relationships with our Providers and staff that will now only be available at out-of-network visits. It’s very difficult to find a Provider to trust with your health, and these patients are being forced to start all over again with someone new. Another reason this hurts its members is that Axis HealthCare is currently taking new patients and may be the only Provider in town doing so. These patients are going to have to drive further out to look for a new Provider. Axis HealthCare also offers services that other clinics don’t, including: Foot care, Pain Management on a family practice level, AVS testing, PFT testing, x-Ray, Psychiatry, Walk-in care, and many more.
This decision by BCBS only hurts its members. These members are paying premiums to receive the best possible care and BCBS is taking the decision away from its members on where they receive their care.
The members that sign this list are in agreement that Axis HealthCare is a valuable asset to them, their family, and their community. They wish BCBS to reinstate the Provider contract with Axis HealthCare immediately.
NOTICE: Petition can only be signed if you are a BCBS member. If you have a child, under the age of 18, then you may sign in place of that member.

I do not feel that the holders of BCBS should be excluded from a reliable and easy access clinic. Also not continuing with them will add additional patients to our already crowded ER and doctor's offices
This is bs that the people that know my medical conditions and take such good care of me I will have to pay additional to see why didn't Blue Cross Blue Shield Sayo long time ago that they were going to take away their in- Network status that man made me choose a different dr. And facility for my primary care facility it's just wrong
I really want to stay with my DR Tanya Pond she was the one who discovered my cancer and she has been helping me with my back pain and other health issues I really don't want to start over with finding another doctor again
I cant afford to travel any further to see the doctor. I have an infant and we have no air conditioning in our van. I cant possibly take him with me because its too hot and hes breastfed. I have a two hour window inbetween feedings. I cant travel.
I love Dr Chorley at Axis. I will drop BCBS and enroll with insurance that will cover the services I receive at Axis.

I would like to stay at my doctors office i'v seen a lot of doctors over the years and she is the first one that has given me good treatment thank you so pleas keep axs on your list
