Seeing one hundred people recognize the true history of this site feels incredible. My family has lived here for generations and Ropetackle is part of our local identity that we cannot lose.

Seeing this much support for our local identity leaves me incredibly moved. It proves that this name belongs to our community rather than a corporate branding exercise.

lived here 40 years and never heard of basepoint. its Ropetackle and always will be to us locals.
Seriously? Basepoint sounds like some generic call centre. Get it changed back ASAP.
Ridiculous rename. Ropetackle is a part of Shoreham history and it belongs on the building.
STOP ERASING OUR TOWN HISTORY FOR CORPORATE BRANDING.
Total madness. Who even thought this was a good idea? Change it back.
"Basepoint"? No way. Dreadful. Please, please, give us our Ropetackle back!!

So fed up with these big companies coming in and stripping away the local character. keep the name!
