BRING BACK THE MUSIC!
This petition's purpose is to bring back the musical classes at SCVi such as, Garageband, and the standard Music class.
When I left my hometown school district I selected SCVi because of the music programs that they offered. It was shocking to receive the news that SCVi is no longer having their music program due to no music instructor. My parents started to wonder what was going on at SCVi and why there was not a replacement music instructor.
This petition is to inform the staff and administrators at SCVi that We students want music classes back. This is crucial to our learning abilities, enrichment for our lives, and especially for those of us that have very strong mathematical skills. It would be in the student’s best interest to have music back, as it works hand in hand with our learning abilities. Please spread the word about this petition to parents, students, staff and administrators.

The music program is just as much as important as the theater program I feel that if there was no theater program the school would jump on hiring a new Theater teacher! Why can't it be the same for the music program !! Maybe if Sammy Raskin loved music as much as she loves theater we would have a music teacher .... Just saying.
Pleaee consider bringing back the SCVi music program in order to allow creative freedom to the musically enthusiastic learners
Hi Adrian. I'm proud of you for creating this petition and demanding there be music classes offered at SCVi. I don't know what you have been told, but I did not quit SCVi. I was laid off and told that they had to cut the music program due to budget constraints. I hope that they can hold some fundraisers or something to hire at least a part-time teacher. I just wanted to make it clear that they deliberately cut the music program because they didn't want to pay a teacher. If they wanted to, they could have hired another teacher by now. Keep pushing, Adrian! There are so many students at SCVi who love music, and it is so essential for high school students!
Music and Math both go together to exercise the brain and help it develop. I did not know music programs were no longer in school. This is an atrocity. Bring music back and help our young people exercise their minds for a better America!
music is my passion and it's what I want to do in my life as a career and I would like to be able to have a class such as IB music and other classes in loving music.

As a recent graduate of SCVi (2015) I feel that it is imperative to have a music program at SCVi. While attending there, I've seen so many students exceed when the music program was still there.
The music program is just as much as important as the theater program I feel that if there was no theater program the school would jump on hiring a new Theater teacher!
