Power 102-1 is gone, and for people who love classic hip hop, one of the best radio stations there was is gone. This is a sad day. Knowing the powers that are in control at Summit, they won't bring it back, but hopefully someone from one from one of the other radio groups will. If we get 10,000 signatures, maybe someone from Clear Channel, Cummulus or other groups will fill this niche. There is a lot of great music that needs to be played and the group at Summit is too obtuse to realize it. Power was a GREAT station...show your support and bring Run DMC, LL COOL J, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest back to Birmingham, AL radio. Sign and pass along. This was a station that everyone could listen to no matter who you are.
