This petition is to convince our jazz listeners the value of something that has long been eluded for some time. A radio station that will play our “New Smooth Jazz” sound and bring back those magical nights of music where the wind was blowing in our faces and the spirit of the sound was flowing free through the air we breathe. The “New Smooth Jazz” world is not just a sound it is a lifestyle for those who truly respect the great artistic compositions of illustrious jazz icons. “The New Smooth Jazz” is a culture that provides a different atmosphere and vibe that is unexplainable but reaches deep within your soul. Our goals is to bring back the audience that was so much a part of this inspirational musical movement and resurrect the sound that we are so much in love with. We need your voice to speak out and preserve this “New Smooth Jazz” way of life.

the demographics show that the people with purchasing power are smooth jazz listeners. Isn't THAT the target audience?
Since 2009,those of us who listen to smooth jazz have been disappointed because the last smooth jazz station had been taken over by talk radio. We want our jazz back!!.
the fan base is there, the music still continues to evolve, and there's a whole new crop of teenaged players emerging. it/we need a radio station!
I miss the smooth jazz station 96.7! I listened religiously to keep up on concerts, festivals and all the smooth jazz artist that are out. I hope they bring it back to that there is quality music being played over the radio. I know we have Pandora or other steaming stations but sometimes in your car you want to listen to a regular station that is great and informative.
With the loss of smooth jazz in the valley, I can't wait to get over the Grapevine and tune to The Wave.

When I lived at home with my parent's, "Smooth Jazz" was my go to music when I would go to bed. Now that I'm a parent, I wish they can bring it back so my kids can listen to it when they go to bed
