1. ALL ASKED AGREED THAT THE NEW FORMAT CHOSEN BY PHILLY RADIO STATION HOT 107.9, GOING WITH OLD SCHOOL HIP-HIP AS IT'S PLATFORM WAS GENIUS AND LONG PASS DUE.
2. FOR AS RIGHT AS THEY HAVE IT, WE CAN'T FORGET THAT RUNNING A RADIO STATION IS A BUSINESS! THERE ARE TOO MANY CITIES TO EVEN COUNT WHERE A BRAND NEW STATION SHOWS UP PLAYING ALL YOUR FAVORITE HITS. YOU THINK YES FINALLY! WHEN ONLY WEEKS LATER YOU GO TO THAT SAME STATION ONLY TO FIND THAT IT'S FALLEN IN TO THE SAME TRAP/FATE AS PREVIOUS CHANNELS THAT MAKE PROMISEES IT ULTIMATELY CAN'T KEEP.
WHAT WE ARE ABOUT TO SUGGEST IS THAT THE PEOPLE HAVE A SAY FOR ONCE IN NOT ONLY WHAT GETS PLAYED BUT WHO IS ACTUALLY PLAYING IT.
DON'T BRING IN SOME PERSONALITY INTO A CITY WHERE YOU HAVE NO FEEL ON THE PULSE OF WHAT THE PEOPLE MIGHT REALLY WANT TO HEAR.
HIRE A DJ AND PERSONALITIES WITH TIES TO THE COMMUNITY THAT YOU ARE CATERING TO.

It's important for stations like 107.9 to not just provide listenable content, but to have relatable personalities. T.H.E. and DJ Soulbuck are cornerstones of music period. They transcend hip hop and make the listener feel like they are part of an experience and not just listening to a show. Think about it!!!
DJ SoulBuck is hands down one of the dopest DJ's in existence right now. He understands the concept of how to keep people intrigued and involved in any progam he's on by his supreme skillz and music selections. He's also a top notch producer and beat maker, as well. You will getting a much loved and well respected asset of HipHop culture by hiring this man. Peace...
Hip Hop needs strong presence and support to breathe life back into it. These two do that. If they join 107.9 i can get all my music in one place instead of going here and there. Support this 1000%
