Edinburgh City Council gave the event this year to Underbelly outing m&d's who have supplied a winter wonderland here for many years.

Expectations of underbelly were high and the only high thing that has been is the prices to get on the attractions all 4 of them.

The starflyer £7.50 a shot the giant wheel £8.00 the ice rink £10 the carousels £4.50 and not forgetting the food and drinks.

The prices this year are far to high for a family having day out and their is nothing for the kids apart from the carousel and santas train ride.

When m&d's ran the fair it really did have a winter wonderland feel about it, but underbelly chief charlie wood referred them to being to "tacky". Mr wood clearly doesnt know the meaning of christmas and that christmas is aimed at children yet fails to provide anything for them in Edinburgh.
