We petition the Congress of the United States of America to ensure proper aid be sent to Puerto Rico to end the power outage facing millions who live there.
The blackout has drastic humanitarian consequences, as electricity is needed in hospitals, schools, and homes. We feel that the U.S. government has not done enough to provide help for Puerto Ricans in the wake of Hurricane Maria.
We urge our government to ensure power be restored across the island so that the U.S. citizens living there can begin to move towards a brighter future.

its been way too long and people are still suffering without basic power. how can we call them citizens if we leave them in the dark like this? get it done already.
