The Puerto Rico Green Energy Fund was created to help the citizens of Puerto Rico reduce their energy bills and reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. Since the majority of the funds designated have gone to big commercial projects we request that a special assignment of $20 million dollars be done for projects of 15 kW or less. This projects are the ones that will benefit small businesses and families and where the greatest impact can be created in terms of energy savings and job creation. Let us remember that the money saved by us in electricity will recirculate into the Puerto Rico economy as well as the income generated by the engineers and solar installers. The financial services industry will benefit greatly since they will underwrite the financing for these projects. Act now!
