The Board just confirmed they have secured a new doctor for our clinic. Seeing those 288 signatures turn into actual healthcare for my neighbors feels unreal. We keep a close eye on the transition but tonight we celebrate this win.

The County Board Of Supervisors needs to hear our voice about the importance of our local clinic. We need to join together and be heard that we need our clinic for our locals, for our visitors and for our families. We need the county to continue their pursuit in search of a new health care professional to run our clinic. By signing this petition you are sending your voice to tell the board we need our clinic.

Seeing 250 names on this list feels heavy because I know how many of you depend on that clinic just like my own family does. This number proves the County Board can no longer pretend we do not exist.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that the people of Bridgeport refuse to let our medical care slip away. I am overwhelmed by the realization that so many of you know exactly why keeping our clinic doors open is a fight for our lives.

There are viable solutions to keeping a clinic in Bridgeport. The BOS should not give up before hearing all the options and listening to solutions from the public. Mono County has faced difficult health care issues in the past and has been able to find a way to serve the public.

This clinic benefits elders and disabled who cannot make the trip to Mammoth Lakes or Gardnerville. It's sad that even though we live in a very rural, very difficult environment, the hospital is motived by money rather than patient needs.

In 2009 My father was injured camping, it would have been easier on him to be treated close by instead if traveling to Carson city. We have used your facility many, many years ago. Having a facility close by makes you feel less isolated when camping.

As a manager of the FS camp grounds, in the Bridgeport area, this medical clinic is very essential. Very day we have campers hurting themselves, campers with medical emergences.. This clinic just has to stay open, for health and welfare of ALL !!!!

As a user of the Bridgeport Clinic, a father and a supervisor that depends on the Bridgeport Clinic for medical care I urge the County Board of Supervisors to find a way to keep our Family Medical Clinic OPEN. Thank you.

We would be willing to be part of a healthcare district to get funding if necessary. We have a home in Twin Lakes, Bridgeport.
