New Waterford Hospital is on it's final step in losing many of it's services. Once they are gone then the hospital is next. As a town of over 7000 people we deserve and need our hospital. As we all know most of our town population are seniors. We don't want to see our parents or grand parents have to take a taxi to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney. It was them who worked so hard to get us our hospital, lets not let them down. As a community we can win this but it will take each and everyone of us. Please sign this Petition and show our government we do care. And we will not give up on our health care. Thank you.
The current level of engagement has forced a formal response from the regional health authority. I am coordinating with local representatives to schedule a meeting regarding these service reductions.

My parents are in their 80s and rely on this place. Closing this down is just cruel to the people who built this town.

A taxi ride to Sydney costs way too much for a fixed income senior. They didnt think this through.

Enough is enough. Start listening to the people for once instead of just cutting everything.

Ridiculous. We pay our taxes just like everyone else but get treated like we don't matter at all up here.

KEEP OUR HOSPITAL OPEN. My grandkids were born there and it should stay for the future generations too.
