It is no secret to the fans of live music in Atlanta that the Brandyhouse is a regular venue to see bands on a nightly basis. It is also no secret that the business practices of this venue are extremely questionable. At this time, the fans have had enough and are prepared to boycott future shows in the event that there are not significant changes to the same. The undersigned are formally placing the Brandyhouse on notice of our displeasure with the following: 1. Inflated cover charges on a nightly basis. 2. Ridiculously high drink prices, especially for liquor drinks that often have minimal liquor in them. 3. Consistently poor service. 4. Numerous instances of extra drinks being placed on bar tabs. The live music community in Atlanta is a loyal and respectful one and we are tired of being taken advantage of by The Brandyhouse. Unless there is a stated change, we will no longer support this venue and will make an effort to make sure the bands that we support are aware of the same.
