I'm setting this up as a lot of us are annoyed at the headline act of the Guild of Student's Graduation Ball for 2012. We feel let down by our Union who have been unable to sustain a satisfactory act for the price we pay, especially in comparison to both previous years at the University of Birmingham, and other Universities.
The ticket price is far too high and we petition that the Guild of Students either seek to change the act, reduce the price of tickets, or provide a certain number of free drinks.
Please note this is not a personal attack on the Guild, just a way for us to make our democratically elected representatives aware of our discontent.
Please pass on, and many thanks.
I really did not think this would take off like it has when I started typing it out in a total panic while staring at the ticket price screen. Reading through what everyone is saying makes me feel a lot less crazy for thinking these prices are just completely out of touch with what we can actually afford.

The price is an absolute joke. I paid way too much for this ticket to be stuck with such a disappointing lineup. Sort it out.

Ridiculous. My last grad ball and this is the best they can do? Complete waste of money.

Honestly what are they thinking? we basically pay for a night of mediocre music when we could be getting something actually decent for the price.
