im still reading through all the messages you guys are leaving and its clear so many parents are feeling the exact same level of anxiety right now. i have been spending my time emailing the department to get real answers about safety and will let you know as soon as they reply.

im honestly blown away by how many people are signing this and pushing for our kids safety. this momentum shows just how much we all care about keeping our families protected right now.

Schools should stay closed, we cannot close schools at lessthan 100 cases and open at over 5 000 cases
It's going to be difficult for children to practice social distancing and some parents won't afford to buy masks, unless the department will also provide them.
How are the kids going to social distance in the school transport at this point they are packed in the transport
Government should get their ducks in a row before risking our kids lives, what measures or implementations have they requested schools to comply to? Each school should be audited by an independent occupational health and safety officer, to ensure that what was required by the department is complied to.
Too risky for children and for teachers. Our kids will be playing "let's swop the masks" with other kids
We are not ready
The lives of our children comes first irrespective of covid19, we only live once.
