This petition is for Baltimore City Public School and Maryland Public school students to voice their opinion in getting rid of the math computer program Agile Mind. For those who have been exposed to it have endured the frustration and irritating aspects of the program and understand why this petition has been devised. I urge those who choose to sign this petition to do so and urge your peers that have experienced this program to do sign it as well. With your signature, you prove that you care about your education and desire change in a system that was made to serve you and train your for whatever you make your future out to be.

I found this petition looking for information on Agile Minds. I think the kids are right. Students need to be taught by a teacher who understands the subject. A computer should be a tool - not the program. If they are being babysat by a computer, call it an online program and put the teachers in a position to make an impact.
Some teachers don't even teach anymore they just click through agile mind and make the class read the slides thinking we will benefit and learn from that,which we are not. So ending agile mind is a good thing
Agile Mind is set up for failure , when u struggle to have a laptop or computer in reach. Sometimes Agile Mindcaffects work because during school the system would shut down repeatedly. So I am happy to sign this petition to give kids a better reach to that diploma
The agile mind math program is difficult for students to use. Mainly because the type of questions they ask in their test do not always relate to their slides. It really affected my grade and my understanding of the topic.
I am the mother of two students who have been using agile mind for a total of 3 years and find that my children suffer anxiety trying to get lessons finished overnight and understanding lessons by themselves.
Lessons are so degrading for my students, my students are bored with them. But, the school "spent a lot of money" so we must use it.

I never failed a math class until agile mind was involved. It is a set back for students and takes away from the hands-on part of learning. Whenever I asked my teachers for help , they told me to go online, & I couldn't because I had no Internet at home.
