In simple terms, the goal of this petition is to ask the LVDS administration to carefully consider our concerns and do whatever is necessary.

Mr s doesn’t try to help us understand concepts. My group asked for notes on a test one time because he gave it to another student. He proceeded to tell us that “girls are smarter than boys so you dont need it” and that we have “all the knowledge in the world”
-he is very mean and he yelled at me for something I did. From other people, they have been receiving random detentions for not doing anything at all. No one can hear him at all because he talks so quietly therefore people fail his class. When you are absent, he doesn't even help you: he tells you to ask your classmates and just says to try your best on absent work that you don't even learn.
As much as I like having Mr S as our computer teacher. Most kids are failing his class because one he talks too quietly and we can’t really hear him two he acts shy or maybe has social anxiety three he can’t even yell at someone ye doesn’t give warnings just red cards most of the time. Please have careful consideration for choosing new teachers. We need a better teacher. Some people’s gaps are going down because of it when students apply to different high schools what are we gonna say for a class average being a C in computers. Please take this in careful consideration
In our computer class both 7th and 8th, many of us feel we are not receiving the instruction or support we need. When students ask questions, we are often ignored or told to ask a classmate instead of receiving an explanation. He frequently gives quizzes without notice or a day notice , even when the lessons haven’t been clearly taught, which leads to many of us failing tests despite trying. Students are given red cards or detentions immediately, even for small things like asking a question or speaking, while others are allowed to get up or move around without consequences. We also feel that we are sometimes blamed for things we did not do, and our concerns are dismissed when we try to explain. Overall, we don’t feel listened to, supported, or taught in a way that helps us learn
Mr. S has been unfair in class. Some examples are he gave Kendric Lin a detention whilst Kendric wasn’t even in the room, he was in the office due to being nominated for the spelling bee. As well, Fay Chiang received a 3 day detention today (12/9) although she had already finished the quiz and was not talking. Evie Coffee has also gotten multiple detentions, and when she asked Mr. S why, he said talking, although no one was talking at said time.
He is a bad teacher

I feel like Mr.S needs to have a serious talk with administration because every time I ask him a question he ignores me and does not answer and makes me ask my partner who also has the same question. The quizzes and test he gives us he tells us to use our notes but half of the time it’s not useful because our notes are not on the quiz or test.
