The restrictions have been officially dropped and Mudeford stays open for us. It was a long road to get here but I am relieved that our persistence paid off. We should keep an eye on local policy updates moving forward but for now the water is ours.

The feedback from local officials has been frustratingly vague so far. I am still putting in the hours to get a straight answer about the future of our access to the water.

my kids love watching the kitesurfers out there. its great to have active sports going on instead of just kids staring at screens all day.
Ridiculous to ban it. Mudeford is the best spot around for training. Dont ruin it for everyone.
It keeps people healthy and active. leave the kitesurfers alone.
Keep mudeford open. there isnt many places left for us to go.

I been kitesurfing there for 5 years and never had a problem with anyone. People just love to complain about stuff they dont understand.
